and our passion is using the art of cinema to capture the beauty and emotion of every special moment on the best day of your life so that you can see, hear, and feel that day for every day to come. Planning your wedding can feel like a full-time job and when it finally arrives it’s over in the blink of an eye. You want to remember every moment; every sight and sound; the music, the romance, the intimacy, all of the feelings you shared together.
I love all things creative! Film has been one of my passions since high school and I love every chance I get to share in the excitement of a bride and groom’s first day together as husband and wife. When I’m not creating wedding films you can probably find me outside running or hiking. My wife, Kathryn, and I have been married since 2013 and I still can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.
I have always been a people person. Nothing makes my heart more full than sharing life’s most exciting moments with those around me or being there for someone who needs a helping hand. I am a full time cosmetologist at a high end salon in Alpharetta, GA which I love because everyday I get to share life with my local community. I love meeting new couples and I love hearing how they fell in love – couples’ stories never stop amazing me.
I have an extensive background in music, art, and graphic design but video editing is the perfect synthesis of all three. I get to take stunning imagery and pair it with the emotional power of music to bring to life a couple’s wedding day. I can’t think of any other medium or art form that is as moving as video and I love using my creative talents to bring it all together.
I am a Georgia native and graduate of Full Sail University. As a head cinematographer, I am passionate about using my creativity to capture things from a unique perspective, especially when it comes to aerial cinematography. I love my beautiful wife, Holly, and our cat, Cucumber.
I have always been a filmmaker at heart – I moved to Atlanta from New York to pursue my passion and it has been way too easy to fall in love with this city. I love filming weddings because not only do I get to tell heart felt stories but I get to do it while sharing in an amazing day with incredible people.
When I am looking for inspiration I usually look outdoors – I love the beauty of God’s nature and exploring new places. Wedding cinematography is the perfect blend of simplicity and excitement – on one hand it all comes down to the simple love between two people and on the other hand it’s one of the biggest, most exciting days in a couple’s life together.
Anthony & Kathryn
Anthony and Kathyrn moved to Atlanta, GA to create Up & Up Weddings shortly after they got married in 2013.
Anthony graduated from Bowling Green State University in Ohio where he studied design, film, and cinematography. He has been creating wedding films since he graduated school but full time wedding videography was something that he and Kathryn wanted to wait until after they got married to pursue.
They met at church and started dating just out of high school, right after attending senior prom together! Kathryn went to cosmetology school in Kansas and Anthony moved to Los Angeles where he continued creating wedding videos outside his day job.
He know his heart was with Kathryn and his passion was in cinematography so on a Friday evening in the spring of 2013 he told Kathryn that he was going to be working all weekend. He had secretly bought a plane ticket to surprise her with a very important question.
At about 7am that Saturday morning as Kathryn walked out to her car to go to school, he asked her to be his wife and she said yes!
They were married that August and in October they started making plans to move to Atlanta!
Capturing and creating couple’s wedding films in Atlanta has been the most rewarding job they could have asked for. They’re so excited to be here and celebrate with all the wonderful brides and grooms they connect with!
Joe & Holly
Joseph and Holly are both Georgia natives and one day earlier, a year after Anthony and Kathryn were married, Joseph and Holly tied the knot too!
Although Joe didn’t even know Anthony yet he must have been asking himself how he could top Anthony’s proposal and he may have done it!
Joe decided to take Holly to see ‘Frozen’ at a small theatre in Thomaston, GA but Holly had no idea what was about to happen next!
Joseph and Holly have been a huge part of the Up & Up Weddings team. There have been so many people we’ve met and worked with that have become so much more than just clients or partners and among those people we’re proud to call Joseph and Holly friends.

If you can’t tell already, we’re excited and passionate about capturing and creating unique, cinematic wedding films! Our goal is to develop lasting relationships with everyone we work with, which means we want to meet you, hear your story, and share ours with you before your wedding takes place. We dedicate lots of time to every wedding we take so we limit the number of weddings we accept per year so that we never have to cut any corners. We believe in quality over quantity and we believe that relationships are the only way to make it happen! If you’d like to talk to us more about your wedding, don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
