We are a small team of families with a big passion for connecting with couples who value love, joy, and CELEBRATION. After all, our job is literally to go to big parties! We have the honor of working with happy couples who are just as excited as we are about artistically and creatively celebrating, remembering, and sharing their love story.
We know wedding planning can be stressful, but we want to help make the process a little more fun by hearing & sharing the joy of your story.
Hi There!
My name is Anthony.
One of the best days of my life was in 2013 when I married my best friend, Kathryn.
I proposed to Kathryn just 4 months earlier! Needless to say, we were working on a tight schedule (and we had a bootstrap budget.)
We had never planned a wedding before and we were learning on the fly how much goes into the process. Now, after being in the wedding industry for almost a decade, there’s a lot I would have done differently.
but I have only one regret…
…we did not film our wedding.
Like so many couples we meet today, we felt overwhelmed with all the planning, and vendor meetings, and unexpected expenses. We just didn’t think a wedding video was important enough to prioritize.
We have photos, which I‘m incredibly thankful for, but we’ll never hear the words we spoke to each other during our vows. I‘ll never see my reaction as Kathryn shoved cake all over my face and into my beard (yep she is one of those ones!). Kathryn won’t get to see my nervous excitement as I got ready for the day. We won‘t see ourselves twirling each other around and doing handstands on the dance floor with our family and friends cheering us on and
laughing at us.
It was out of this personal experience that Up & Up Weddings was born.
Just 4 months after our wedding, I dedicated myself to capturing other couples’ love stories. Nearly a decade later, our team at Up & Up Weddings has kept the same mission at the center of our hearts, to personally connect with couples, to celebrate love, and to create artistic time pieces that our couples cherish for the rest of their lives and generations to come.

OUR CREATIVE TEAM
Anthony
Anthony founded Up & Up Weddings in 2014, shortly after marrying his high school sweetheart, Kathryn, and realizing the value and importance of having a wedding film (experience is life’s greatest teacher.) Anthony and Kathryn welcomed their twin girls into their family on December 2nd & 3rd of 2019 (right before midnight and right after midnight!) Anthony has been a filmmaker since high school and has always had a passion for connecting with people & telling their unique stories through film. Kathryn is an empath and is also very detail-oriented, making her the perfect companion to a creative.
Kaylee
Kaylee started her film career in the North Georgia mountains. She has always had a passion for creativity, planning events, and celebrating love stories. In 2017 Kaylee met her husband, Michael, who was a groomsman at a wedding she was filming 🙂 After 3 years of being together long-distance from Athens, GA to Iowa, Kaylee & Michael got married at the venue where they first met! In 2022 they welcomed their son, Asher, and their family loves going on adventures and tending to their chickens. After her own wedding, Kaylee knows how it feels to be a bride and she is passionate about making sure your special day is magical!

Hear Your Story. We value having a relationship with each of our couples. Due to the size of our small team, we only film a limited number of weddings each year because we want to have the availability to invest in each of our couples. We always starting by listening to your story. We want to hear what is most important to YOU.
Capture Your Story. Every couple we work with is unique and every wedding we capture is a once-in-a-lifetime event. The weddings we film are not just another ‘day in the office’ for our team. We treat your wedding with the same enthusiasm as we would our own, so that you can just relax, be present in the moment, and enjoy the day. We focus on capturing what is most important to YOU and the moments that you want to remember and relive for the rest of your lives.
Share Your Story. After we’ve filmed your wedding, we handcraft your wedding film, scene by scene and sound by sound. Every frame is personalized to your vision, your values, and your personalities. We don’t use a cookie cutter approach and we don’t make average, generic wedding videos. We make emotional, cinematic love story films that preserve your priceless memories.
